Charlene Dunbar knows child support through experience she has earned both personally and professionally. She is nationally renowned as an advocate for custodial parents and an expert on the ins and outs of child support and related issues. As former President of Children’s Support Services of Ohio, Inc. Charlene is dedicated to educating custodial parents about child support, their rights, and the actions they can take to collect what they deserve.

Charlene’s passion for working on behalf of parents and children was inspired by her own personal struggle to receive support from her ex-husband for her three children. After years of working through the court system, Charlene took matters into her own hands and finally collected $40,000.00 in back child support for her family. Her case was one of the first in Ohio in which prosecutors were successful in bringing felony charges against her ex-husband for lack of payment. After beating incredible odds, Charlene dedicated her life’s work to helping other parents collect their child support. Prior to the selling of her business in March 2000, she worked to help parents in central ohio as President of CSSO, Inc. Today she has started a corporation called IWantMyChildSupport.com, Inc. She is excited about this because she has added several ways for custodial parents to collect their much needed child support. She has also written a self-help book to enable parents in the collection of their child support. In addition, she will be accepting new clients to assist them in collecting their much needed child support if they do not have the time to do it or choose to not do it for themselves.
